The OneDigital's Information Security Chapter has as a primary goal to unite, educate, and inspire our members to secure the digital world.

The Information Security Chapter houses the capabilities and roles necessary to develop and operate the Cyber Security program for OneDigital.

This includes identifying, managing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks across the enterprise in alignment with business objectives.

The team reports into the Head of Information Security and work closely with other technical teams within technology as well as various business units throughout the company.


What you'll be doing


As part of our OneDigital Cyber Defence team, you will be responsible for supporting the operation of security controls and being a point of escalation for the Security Operation Centre.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential security threats and working to resolve them in a timely manner.

This is crucial in ensuring that OneDigital's systems and customer data are protected.

You'll have an opportunity to work with some of the latest technologies in the industry as well as having an input into our technology roadmap.


Key duties and deliverables:

  • Provide technical expertise in Information Security with a focus on identifying, investigating, and remediating security incidents in partnership with Operations and Incident team
  • Liaise with other parts of the business, to resolve issues and mitigate risks
  • Support the operation of security controls and being a point of escalation for the Security Operation Centre
  • Analyse data and information to identify trends and potential threats
  • Provide input into the improvement of procedures and playbooks related to Cybersecurity
  • Work with teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and provide input into the improvement of the vulnerability management process
  • Work closely with Helpdesk team on access management and other security requests
  • Prepare regular reports on Cybersecurity activities
  • Develop and implement new SIEM rules, alerts, dashboards, reports, and workflows.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to management on significant incidents or trends.
  • Use the SIEM solution and other systems to automate security operations and create customized alerts
  • Contribute to our team planning and provide continuous feedback to your team and peers
  • Work with key product stakeholders to align to customer needs
  • Be a mentor to junior engineers

What you will need:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with core elements of the Microsoft security stack, including Azure AD and conditional access, Intune, Identity governance and Sentinel.
  • Experience in Incident Response activities
  • Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR solutions
  • Familiarity with vulnerability and penetration testing tools.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and tools
  • Capability and drive to continuously learn, evaluate and employ new and emerging software, packages/libraries, and infrastructure, and disseminate throughout the team
  • A disciplined approach to problem solving and an ability to critically assess a range of information to understand and interpret business needs of solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • A professional manner and have a positive personal presence with a high degree of personal awareness and desire to be a part of a high performing team, demonstrating an approach that displays a humble, curious, collaborative and creative mentality
