About the Opportunity


A hungry, seasoned PR professional who is well connected with the media, can develop PR strategies to drive business growth and development.

You will bring new ideas to generate awesome results and roll up your sleeves to make it all happen as you manage communications, media relationships and Influencer management for global beauty brands.


This is an amazing opportunity for a highly capable, motivated and organised individual with excellent copywriting abilities to manage multiple media activities across all of our brands.


About the business
Based near vibrant Cronulla in Sydney's south, Professional Beauty Solutions is a rapidly growing, Australian-owned beauty distribution company. Our core target market is salons, spas and clinics Australia wide.

We also manage the Australian brand representations for a host of global beauty brands, cosmeceutical skincare, mineral make-up, body care, tanning and the latest aesthetic device technology.


About the Role
Key tasks and responsibilities will include (but of course, aren't limited to):

  • Managing all media and influencer and content creator relationships
  • Managing PR send outs to trade magazines, beauty editors etc
  • Development of PR strategies, including influencer marketing opportunities.
  • Media pitching
  • Monthly reporting of publicity and social media coverage
  • Writing advertising spreadsheets and press releases (e.g., new brand, new products etc), newsletter copy, content articles etc.

About you:

  • You have a minimum 35 years' experience in a similar role
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, Media or a similar field
  • You're a super organised multitasker with impeccable attention to detail
  • You're able to prioritise and stay one step ahead, but can quickly adapt when needed
  • You're passionate about consumer trends, and have your finger on the pulse when it comes to new comms and PR approaches
  • You're a measured, calm, laidback individual who loves a laugh, and you're not afraid of hard work
  • You thrive in a fastpaced, everchanging environment with competing priorities
  • You're an approachable team player who's willing to assist in all areas of a rapidly growing business
  • You have advanced Office Suite, Excel and Outlook skills
