Exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our Interventional business in Macquarie Park and map out their career with a market leader in Medical Device technology.

Job Description Summary:
To support the Business Director by ensuring the smooth-running of the day-to-day activities within the business.


This would ideally suit a recent graduate or someone looking to commence their career in marketing within the Medtech industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact between the Business Directors and internal or external colleagues to ensure the functionality and coordination of business activities.
  • Arrange meetings, conferences and events as required.
  • Undertake administrative tasks as required.
  • Make travel arrangements and provide travel itineraries.
  • Produce reports and presentations as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to arrange catering for events as required.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Lifesciences (or related discipline) preferred.
  • Marketing and/or administrative experience desirable.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn.
  • Strong organisational skills and time management skills, and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to be proactive in decision making.
  • Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively is essential.
  • High attention to detail

OTHER WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Some weekend work may be required as will out of normal business hours work
  • Domestic travel may be required
