What you'll be doing
A medical imaging allied health assistant engages in transportation of patients within the hospital (wheelchair and bed-trolleys), basic patient care, communicates with the multi-disciplinary team, performs clinical duties and also administrative support within the medical imaging department at Ryde hospital (Transportation of patients from ward to/from medical imaging in bed-trolleys and wheelchair).

- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team (nurses, administration, radiographers, doctors) and also with patients and carers.
- Able to complete repetitive physical tasks such as moving bedtrolleys and wheelchairs in a safety focused environment, as well use transport aid devices and safe manual handling practices in day to day practice.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload demands and complete activities as delegated.
