Role Title
Solution Lead with a focus on CRM
Role Duties
The Resource Authority Register (RAR) project, within Georesources, Department of Resources are
looking to engage a Dynamics 365 specialist who will be responsible for the advice, upskilling, coordination,
delivery of key technical artifacts assist with the delivery of the Enterprise Ecosystem and the
new RAR solution.
The position will report to the Project Manager and work as part of a small internal team, providing
knowledge and advice on standard Dynamics 365 capability, sustainable customisation where standard
functionality does not meet business objectives, creating system and support documentation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with identification and clarifying solution requirements.
  • Translate conceptual, logical and physical solutions into work packages.
  • Develop estimates on required effort for work package deliverables.
  • Undertake configuration and customisation in line with work package deliverables.
  • Provide technical expertise on solution implementation risks and operational challenges.
  • Coordination of the data transformation and migration of data into the new solution.
Essential Qualifications/Certifications/Skills
The contractor must have experience in, and knowledge of, the following:

  • Hands-on development and design experience with Dynamics 365/CRM using ASP.Net, C#, HTML,
CSS, JavaScript and other development technologies.

  • Demonstrated experience with large and complex development projects using Microsoft Dynamics
365 (CRM).

  • Practical knowledge and experience in Dynamics 365 functionality and implementing
customisations.

  • Experience in Microsoft.
Net technologies and integration experience.

  • Demonstrated experience of integrating Dynamics 365 (CRM) with other software solutions.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and data migration concepts.
  • Proven experience in developing Dynamics CRM custom workflows, plug-in creation, and creation
of custom integration solutions with third-party vendors.

  • Generation of System and Support documentation in accordance with the quality management
system requirements appropriate for platform support and good operational practices.

  • Development solution using Agile methodology.
  • Assist with the identification and clarification of work package requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, vendors or other government agencies to plan and
deliver on work package outcomes.

  • Monitor, manage and control work package activities in accordance with agreed plans, including
management of financial costs, risks and issues, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken
to deliver on time and to budget.

  • Scope and manage change initiatives, in order to achieve agreed objectives in a timely and efficient
manner.

  • Communicate with stakeholders ensuring they are briefed on objectives, milestones and progress.
  • Ensure vendor delivers sustainable customisation within governance and standard guidelines that
meet agreed business objectives.

  • Work with the support teams to ensure successful transition of the new solution to ongoing support.
  • Advise, recommend and document Dynamics functional components.
  • Establish and maintain strong and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
including cross-agency representatives, consultants, and contractors.

  • Foster a work environment and team/s that values performance, improvement, innovation, and
outcomes.

  • Share knowledge and help build the capability of the team.
  • Demonstrate commitment to contemporary standards of ethical practice, a safe workplace, equity,
and diversity.

  • Visual Studio experience is required.
