Our Digital Division currently has a fixed term (12 month), full-time opportunity available for a Finance Systems Analyst (referred to internally as a Systems Analyst) to be located at any of our major locations – Brisbane, Toowoomba, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville or Cairns – and are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates.

About your new role:

As a Finance Systems Analyst (Systems Analyst), you're the go-to expert for SAP BPC / BW development and support within EQL's dynamic and complex financial landscape. Working in a team of dedicated professionals, your primary focus is both maintaining and enhancing our SAP BPC / BW solutions to align seamlessly with our evolving finance management requirements.

Leveraging your extensive expertise in SAP BW, you produce and deliver high quality reports, dashboards, and data visualisation outputs. Further, you play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and upkeep of EQL's SAP BW systems, configuring data models, data flows, and a variety of reporting solutions to optimise business performance and accuracy.

As the first point of contact for EQL's ERP users, you collaborate closely with key stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and provide support in achieving maximum advantage in the use of technical solutions.

As an active champion for promoting best practice and improving system functionality and process design, you make a genuine impact on the EQL community, empowering our ERP users in their strive to improve processes and achieve efficiencies. Your invaluable contribution ensures EQL and our people achieve best possible value from our SAP ERP solutions, driving sustained success and growth.

The remuneration range for your new role is from $110k to $157k plus 12.75% super for a 10-day fortnight. You also have the option for a 9-day fortnight with salary adjustments. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant's knowledge, skills and competencies required for this position.

About you:

You're degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, Information Technology or a related discipline. Alternatively, you possess the equivalent professional experience required for success. If you hold formal certifications paired with strong experience in SAP BW/BPC and/or SAP Analytics Cloud, you stand out from the rest.

To complement your technical expertise, you have a solid understanding of financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, financial close and consolidation.

You're experienced in various project management methodologies including Agile and Scrum, are comfortable working within a large and complex organisation environment and can manage competing demands and prioritise effectively.

Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to adopt a 'big picture' perspective and understand how things work and connect.

You're skilled in identifying and facilitating continuous improvement activities for new and innovative ways to solve issues and meet business requirements. You have demonstrated experience in analysing complex issues and preparing written reports and presentations that clearly articulate issues and proposed solutions.

Establishing and building relationships across the business is a key strength of yours and you continuously exercise your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with key stakeholders.
