Our client, who wishes to recurit a Corporate Finance Senior Associate, invests in green energy at all stages of the project lifecycle and is committed to building out a scaled and diversified portfolio of generation and storage assets that provide clean power to a range of customers. Their current portfolio includes wind and solar, with further development in wind, battery storage and solar.

Reporting report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Associate will lead the financial analysis and modelling for wind, solar and storage portfolio and development projects across Australia. This position will work with all parts of the business to support operational, development and M&A activities across the company.

The Senior Associate will be responsible for the modelling in relation to M&A activities, debt financing and greenfield development opportunities. They will lead the financial modelling of development opportunities including wind, solar and energy storage. This will include preparing business case papers and supporting analysis for new investments and financing proposals.

With an ability to instil trust and confidence, the Senior Associate will provide updates to the corporate and valuation models in support of the management team and key external stakeholders, as well as providing strategic financial and renewable energy market analysis.

The Senior Associate works closely with, and supports, the Finance and Asset Management teams in developing and maintaining tools to monitor and optimise the portfolio (including cash efficiency, revenue streams and offtake arrangements, insights into operational performance modelling/monitoring).

In addition, they will collaborate effectively with the Asset Management and Development teams on ad hoc tasks as required, including being able to manage multiple streams of information on an ongoing basis.
