An opportunity to take pride in:

We are in search of a motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic finance team on a permanent part-time basis. For this role, you should have prior experience in Accounts Payable within a similar corporate setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Validating invoices to ensure compliance with GST regulations
  • Maintaining creditor accounts and updating payment details
  • Entering a high volume of invoices, including matching purchase orders and manual invoices
  • Reconciling creditor statements monthly and addressing any discrepancies before month-end
  • Coordinating with employees and volunteers to ensure prompt expense reimbursements
  • Processing payments for a minimum of 400 creditors bi-weekly
  • Handling accurate reconciliation and processing of petty cash claims every two weeks
  • Assisting in month-end processes for a timely and precise month-end close
  • Managing email and phone inquiries both internally and externally promptly

What you need:

  • 2 - 5 years of Accounts Payable experience in a large corporate environment
  • Knowledge of GST and Tax Invoice regulations
  • Ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Basic to intermediate Excel proficiency
  • Prior experience with Accounting Software (Desirable Microsoft Dynamics GP)
