• As a Senior Digital Communication Officer, you will apply your experience in the creation, delivery and management of digital and online communication strategies to support strategic business priorities.

• The Senior Digital Communication Officer will need to be flexible, adaptable and show a positive, solution-focused approach.

  • Develop easy to understand and use, audience-focused content in consultation with subject matter experts to ensure department objectives are achieved through digital media.
  • Develop and implement content strategies, and an overarching content calendar to broaden the department's digital reach across a range of platforms, including web, franchise, social and multimedia platforms.
  • Use Google analytics and other insight tools to provide reports and guide decision-making about content strategies and user behaviour.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including strategies, policies, standards and administrative procedures for online communication strategies.
  • Engage with and contribute to the cross-government content community.
  • Actively engage in a team environment and positive culture, by demonstrating our core values, celebrating success and committing to continued learning and development.
  • Embrace a client focused approach, working in partnership with program areas to enhance online strategies and approaches.
  • Other duties as directed.
