Earth Sciences and Engineering (ESE) at Hatch specializes in a wide range of services including site planning, digital terrain modeling, and geotechnical laboratory services. Our team provides hydrotechnical, geotechnical, civil, and geospatial expertise to clients across different sectors, ensuring the delivery of custom and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the growth of our water business by assisting with pursuits and proposals
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technical teams to lead ongoing projects
- Manage projects by engaging with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors
- Mentor junior staff and create a culture of continuous learning
- Contribute to hydrotechnical projects through active project involvement and consulting assignments
- A degree in Civil or Water Engineering from a recognized institution
- More than 10 years of experience in hydrotechnical projects
- Advanced understanding of Infrastructure and Energy principles, including dam safety and flood risk management
- Experience with water balance, hydrology, and flood modeling software
- Proficiency in GIS tools like ArcGIS and QGIS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional certifications (CPEng and RPEQ/RPEV) are a plus
