About the role
The Production and Maintenance Manager is a Full-time position, based at Springvale, Victoria. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be accountable for Springvale concrete tile production and maintenance.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee & manage production, and maintenance activities to ensure Monier's expectations of safety and environmental performance, productivity, quality & customer service are being achieved.
  • Develop & lead Safety, Health, and Environment programs on the shop floor to improve the plant's performance.
  • Lead cultural change in the factory, including developing the skills and competence of team members and focusing on employee engagement metrics.
  • Develop & implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Develop and manage labour and maintenance budgets while optimising labour on site.
  • Develop and manage maintenance plans, scheduling & resourcing plans.
  • Manage the SAP based PM system.
What you bring to the role

  • Previous experience in Production Management roles or similar.
  • Tertiary Engineering qualification or a Trade background.
  • The ability to work well in a fastpaced environment and work well under pressure.
  • A solid background working in a manufacturing environment.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to think analytically.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A handson approach, strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
