We are looking for a Return to Work/Injury Management Coordinator to assist in the management of Return to Work process in NSW.

Reporting into the National WHS Manager, you will have support from the wider safety team liaising with Branch Managers, and other Labourpower representatives on safety issues and incidents.

The successful applicant will offer assistance in undertaking safety audits on site and to assist the national WHS Manager on claims management.

The Return to Work Coordinator will also have proven experience in driving a safe-work culture and assist in managing a remote multi-site workforce.

Full training will be provided to the successful applicant on our systems, processes and expectations.

The role:

  • Contribute to the WHS management system and implement changes accordingly
  • Liaise with managers on claims and client issues
  • Conduct claim review with managers and relevant parties to obtain best outcomes for claims
  • Oversee the fitness for work process with a view of continual improvement processes
  • Liaise with injured workers and all parties relating to claims management

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Qualification in WH&S or equivalent desirable but not necessary
  • A background in blue collar recruitment and familiarity with FastTrack360 would be advantageous
  • A proactive and energetic approach to their work
  • Sound knowledge in all aspects of safety within a blue collar workforce
  • Able to effectively communicate to all parties
  • Strong administration experience
  • Exceptional time management
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • The ability to multitask with conflicting priorities
  • Intermediate to advanced computer and MS office skills
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • High attention to detail
  • Professional presentation standards
  • Own transport
