And you could be the mastermind behind it all As our Quality Assurance Technician – Manufacturing, you'll dive headfirst into a dynamic role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to shine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and training and auditing of operating staff in the level 1 team including standard checking and some calibration of equipment.
  • Fulfilling the subject matter expert role in problem solving session which relate to quality issues.
  • Analysing quality information in support of level 2 team.
  • Auditing QC systems and benchmarking quality performance.
  • Some calibration work and auditing calibration methods.
  • QA/QC systems work including custodianship of packaging laboratory standards.
  • Manage the supplier non-conformance reporting system and drive continuous improvement with suppliers.
  • Investigate, report and implement corrective actions for consumer and customer complaints.
  • Manages QC Hold program for business unit.
  • Drives SPC to develop process capability with business unit and acts on deviations.
  • Monitors check sheet, sanitation compliance and CCP deviation and takes action when necessary.

  • With your degree in Food Technology, Science, or related fields, you're primed and ready to make your mark within the next step of your quality journey.
  • 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance roles, preferably within the FMCG/Food manufacturing arenas.
  • A strategic mind versed in SPC or similar quality capability methodologies, ready to elevate our processes.
  • Experience in project/change management, navigating through the tides of transformation with ease.
  • Analysis of relevant information and reporting capabilities.
  • Advanced computer skills, including office package.
  • Problem solving and root cause analysis.
