The Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an Educator (Children's Services Employee) at St Flannan's Outside School Hours Care in Zillmere.

At St Flannan's Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care to up to 60 children. We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic educators who are passionate about supporting primary school aged children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy and safe environment.

Our Service
St. Flannan's Outside School Hours Care has been operational since 2012, serving as an integral part of the diverse St. Flannan's community. We are committed to nurturing children's appreciation for cultural diversity, heritage, and traditions. Our service offers before school care, after school care, and vacation care.

Remuneration: Level $ $37.59 (included 25% uplift for casual shifts), depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA.
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
  • Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
