The role
We are looking for an

Information Security Consultant to be responsible for ensuring GPT's technology environment is secured and managed in-line with agreed frameworks, policies and standards.


The role will focus on a mix of day to day run activities within the information security landscape, assisting in the delivery of project initiatives and engaging with stakeholders to understand and align deliverables to GPT's desired risk appetite, compliance and due diligence obligations.

The role will also be expected to lead on cyber projects and tasks working across different teams.

What you will be doing

  • Assisting in the creation, implementation and operation of strategies for the deployment of information security technologies, policies and practices, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Reviewing, guiding and approving system designs from a cyber security standpoint
  • Drafting and/or reviewing compliant security policies and controls and communicating standards to all personnel
  • Maintaining a current understanding of the technology threat landscape, compliance and regulatory obligations and recommending new security technology approaches and next generation solutions
  • Developing and setting up security awareness training activities for all staff and developing regular cyber security testing initiatives.

Your ability to perform analysis and investigations of security risks and develop mitigation strategies will be well regarded, along with your capability to work on security projects as a team lead.


You enjoy taking the initiative to communicate, interact and collaborate with others to ensure that all aspects of a project/task are addressed and are able to tailor technical language to suit your audience and convey technical issues to non-technical staff.
