  • Experience with children with anaphylaxis and eczema

  • Possible for Thursday to longer hours starting from the morning full day
  • Occasionally extra day for Friday or Saturday.
  • The mother has a newborn less than a year old but the nanny's main duty will be to focus on the care of the 3yearold


Our warm and friendly Mascot-based family is in search of an experienced nanny who embodies qualities of organization, attentiveness, patience, kindness, reliability, and nurturing nature, ensuring the highest quality of care for our children.

We consider it crucial that the nanny has proven experience working with children of a similar age.

The primary focus for the nanny will be on the child's overall well-being and development.

It is imperative that the nanny is not only willing but also capable of planning enjoyable activities aligned with the child's interests.

Creating a safe and hygienic environment while imparting clear boundaries is paramount.

The nanny should keep the child actively engaged, and inspired, and foster positive behaviour through a combination of positive reinforcement and gentle reminders.


Effective communication is key, and we value a nanny who remains open to discussing plans and observations with the family.


Responsibilities will encompass assisting with nutritious meals, administering medication, preparing for school, light house chores, changing children's bedsheets, cleaning and washing bottles and kitchenware, and handling laundry.

The nanny will play a central role in feeding, bathing, changing, and ensuring the child follows their established sleeping routine.


The successful nanny will receive trust, open communication, flexibility, and the opportunity to build a long-term and meaningful relationship with our family.


Nanny Duties & Responsibilities:

Child Engagement:

  • Plan fun activities based on the child's interests.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, teaching clear boundaries.
  • Teach and develop good behaviours through positive reinforcement or gentle reminders.

Nutrition and Health:

  • Cook nutritious meals.
  • Keep the child engaged, active, and inspired.
  • Offer medication when needed.
  • Assist with childrelated house chores.
  • Bathe the child and ensure she remains warm throughout.

Bedtime Routine:

  • Settle the child into bed, following the established sleeping routine.
  • Build a strong relationship with the children.

Environment and Household:

  • Ensure a safe and hygienic environment, with all household duties being childrelated.
  • Maintain all aspects of the care routine for the children, ensuring their wellbeing and happiness.

Flexibility and Overnight Stays:

  • Be flexible with occasionally staying overnight, as needed.
  • The most recent request for an overnight stay is at the end of March 2024.
To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:

  • A non-smoker
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Willing to support workingfromhome parents
  • A minimum of 5+ years experience working with children
  • A minimum of 2 Australianbased childrelated references
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain
    ASAP)
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain
    ASAP)
  • Excellent communication skills
