The role overview
I am looking for a talented and resolute Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to manage and grow an established portfolio of clients within a public practice firm based in Strathfield.
Reporting to the Principal Accountant, you will play a pivotal role with providing customer facing services to your portfolio of clients both local and corporate.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform a range of accounting tasks, bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations.
  • Assist with tax planning, preparation, and compliance for individuals and businesses.
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
  • Provide exceptional client service and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate previous experience as per the following:
  • Language proficiency in both Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on accounting, and CPA or CA Qualifications desirable
  • Public practice experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Handiledgers, Xero and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytic skills with diligence and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work strategically to meet deadlines.
