The role:

Lead dynamic client projects, orchestrating teams to achieve project objectives.
Collaborate with the wider team to execute internal initiatives and fulfill client needs.
Support pre-sales efforts by engaging with clients to comprehend requirements and propose tailored solutions.
Contribute to the development of client project proposals.

Architect, strategize, and deploy Microsoft Azure solutions, emphasizing: Azure Landing Zones, Azure Iaa S, Paa S, and Security solutions, Azure Integration Services (APIM, Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, etc.), Infrastructure as Code deployments, Azure Monitor (Log Analytics, Application Insights), Azure Sentinel, Azure Networking, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Dev Ops Design and execute Microsoft 365 infrastructure solutions, focusing on: One Drive and Share Point, Exchange Online, Teams Collaboration, Identity and Security, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Windows Defender.

Evaluate existing on-premises and cloud-based solutions for future optimization.
Assess current business practices and identify opportunities for leveraging Microsoft 365 & Azure cloud offerings.
Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to clients, supporting their cloud journey and necessary assessments.
Interface with enterprise clients regarding Azure-specific application development and deployment.

Technical Requirements:
Demonstrated success in spearheading and completing projects for enterprise clients or within similar environments.
Proficient in navigating consulting scenarios both with clients and internally.
Capable of leveraging expertise and experience to enrich pre-sales endeavors.
Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship required, with the ability to meet minimum baseline security vetting.

Technical Requirements:

At least 4-6 years' hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, encompassing Azure Networking, Iaa S, Paa S, and Security solutions.

At least 4-6 years' practical involvement with Microsoft 365, covering Teams, Exchange Online, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility & Security, Conditional Access, and related areas such as Power Platform.

Minimum of 2 years' direct engagement with Microsoft Azure Integration services, including APIM, Functions, Service Bus, and Logic Apps.

Proficient understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD Identity model, with the ability to provide tailored recommendations based on client requirements.

Proficient in Power Shell scripting for simplifying administration and deployment tasks.
Adept at producing comprehensive documentation including high-level solution design and as-built, as-configured documentation.
Skilled in scripting and adept at implementing Infrastructure as Code principles.
Solid grasp of Dev Ops principles and practices.
Expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues related to Microsoft technologies.
Foundational understanding of enterprise networks and security.
Experience in managing datacentre solutions spanning physical infrastructure, hypervisor environments, and relevant operating systems.
Proficiency in managing networking and network security across internal and public networks.
Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages for process optimization and system querying.
Demonstrated experience in migrating critical workloads (email, files, apps, and servers) to cloud environments.
Familiarity and experience with essential infrastructure components such as DNS, DHCP, AD, GPO, and Windows Server.
Experience working with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and managing certificates.

Nice to haves:
Microsoft and/or relevant vendor certifications.
Practical experience and comprehension of Azure cloud computing or similar cloud infrastructure platforms.
Experience with Microsoft Security Products such as AIP, OME, DLP, PIM, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (formerly MCAS).
Highly regarded experience with Citrix VDI environments.
Project management experience and/or certifications.
Familiarity with Dev Ops tools, code repositories, and pipelines.
Understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Kanban or Scrum.
Proficiency in M365 Licensing and discernment of the benefits between EA (Enterprise Agreement) vs CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) models.
