Alzheimer's Queensland (AQ) strives to empower older individuals, particularly those with dementia and their caregivers, to uphold a fulfilling social life. Offering a range of support, education, information, and direct care services.

We are currently seeking a new member to join our Clinical Governance team. This position will prioritize customer service and continual enhancement.

The team plays a vital role in aiding the organization to provide exceptional services, adhere to standards, and play a crucial role in risk identification.

Requirements for Success

  • A deep understanding and dedication to our residents, as this role significantly influences the quality of care and services in our Community Aged Care and Residential Services.
  • An analytical approach to identifying and addressing areas for continual improvement.
  • A proactive attitude towards change and a readiness to collaborate with our frontline staff.
  • A willingness to impart knowledge in a supportive manner through educational sessions.
  • Proficiency in risk identification and management escalation principles.
  • Engagement in various continuous improvement projects.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and research skills for ensuring excellent care standards.
  • Registration with AHPRA preferred, with experience in the aged care sector.
  • Strong computer skills and database management abilities.
  • Valid Driver's License and National Police Check.
  • Possibility of occasional travel within SE QLD & NSW.
