We are currently seeking to recruit a
People and Culture Coordinator to join our dedicated People and Culture team.

Reporting to the General Manager, People and Culture, this role is a true generalist role with responsibility for coordinating our end to end recruitment and on-boarding processes for employees and volunteers, playing a key part in the delivery of all aspects of the employee experience, and providing guidance and support for employees.

As you grow, this role will grow and offer opportunities across the full range of HR activities and the employee life cycle.

This role may suit a Graduate or an applicant seeking a change to a generalist role.

The successful applicant will be motivated, with an interest in developing their skills and a heart for people and creativity.

You will ensure the administration of everything we do is done accurately and efficiently and you can show us you approach all your work with discretion, respecting the confidentiality of the employment relationship.

You will have the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively to contribute to the success of Maroba.

We are seeking applicants with;

  • Human Resource experience or knowledge of end to end recruitment and on boarding processes would be an advantage
  • Working knowledge of the Health and/or Aged Care Sectors and exposure to payroll and rostering processes and systems would be an advantage
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource or related area is a pre requisite
  • Has a clear understanding of and personal commitment to the Mission and Values of Maroba
You pride yourself on your ability to get things done. You communicate with confidence and you know the importance of developing strong relationships. You know sometimes the conversations we have might be tough, but you're not deterred by difficult situations. You are empathetic, mature-minded, and able to remain calm with a professional approach. Your success in this role will be based on a desire to learn and an ability to engage.


This is a four day per week (32 hours), 12 month fixed term opportunity with a view to possible permanent employment.

There is an opportunity to work five days in periods of leave relief.
