About the Role


CareSouth is looking for an NDIS Support Coordinator to join our Shoalhaven team on a full time - fixed term basis based out of any of our CareSouth sites.

At CareSouth we strive to encourage safety, healing and connection through healthy relationships. Supporting families, children and young people is core to our values.

As a Caseworker you will be a part of a team which works dynamically across the child protection spectrum, from family preservation, permanency support, restoration and adoption.


The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people and people with a disability.
  • Willing to obtain a (NSW) Working with Children Check clearance and/or (ACT) Working with Vulnerable People Card and undergo a National Police Check.
  • Tertiary qualification in Community Services and at least 3 years relevant community services experience.
  • Effectively utilise NDIS packages by using their knowledge of the NDIS, the service system, being assertive, and 'making things happen'.
  • Excellent time management, administration and delegation skills with the ability to maintain accurate, professionally appropriate and current records and written reports.
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal skills including the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures to explain the NDIS processes to them in plain English.
  • Demonstrated experience with facilitating multidisciplinary coordinated planning where multiple providers work together to wraparound services for people with disabilities and develop collaborative relationships and networks between agencies.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and client information management systems.
  • Experience working in a role driven by billable hours.
