We are seeking experienced MaintenanceTechnicians & Machine Setters to work for a well-established thermoform packaging and contract packaging company. The roles are permanent full-time Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime when it arises.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure equipment is maintained and equipment breakdowns are resolved in a timely manner to reduce production downtime.
  • Maintain the departments planned maintenance and clean schedules.
  • Diagnostics and fault finding
  • Assist with operating machines in production on occasions.
  • Assist in Continuous Improvement initiatives for the site.

About you:

  • Fitter & Turner by Trade or mechanical engineer with hands on practical experience
  • Machine settersextensive experience working with and setting up Kiefel & Illig Thermoforming Machines as well as Scope pressure formers
  • Experience also preferred with MPI carding machinery, carton taper, labelling and bundle wrapping machinery
  • Conversant with high speed/packaging machinery
  • Sound analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Positive attitude and flexible with changing work demand.
