About the role


The Principal Consultant will be responsible for providing a range of HR/WPR consulting services to Victorian Chamber members and clients in all aspects of workplace relations and employment legislation, including but not limited to workplace investigations, wage and condition audits, Fair Work Commission representation, enterprise agreement assistance, performance management and termination advice, and offer best practice solutions to solve complex issues.

As well as performing these fees for service consulting services, the Principal Consultant is responsible for supervising consultants and ensuring quality consulting services are delivered by the broader Workplace Relations Team.

Finally, this role will identify any emerging WPR/IR themes for business, as well as seek out opportunities to improve service delivery, financial performance, and drive team accountability.


About you
- comprehensive knowledge of various workplace relations legislation, particularly modern awards
- experience in providing high-quality advice on HR/IR matters including complex wage audits
- experience in conducting workplace investigations
- experience or in-depth understanding of negotiating and interpreting enterprise agreements
- understand the Fair Work Commission's processes and ideally have represented at the FWC
- proven ability to write professional formal documents including policies, letters and reports
- demonstrated ability to build business relationships and actively seek business opportunities.
