Job Description

Reporting into the Investment Manager, the key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Drafting and coordinating the preparation of Board papers for the Group.
  • Monthly asset and cashflow reporting for the Group.
  • Implementing strategic projects such as corporate risk reviews, Board surveys, annual reporting calendars and other ad-hoc projects.
  • Assisting with investment execution and transaction documentation for Group investments
  • Monitoring of investee companies and reporting to the Group Boards.
  • Participate as a member of the team in setting 10-year strategic goals for Group.
  • Company secretarial duties for the Group such as minute taking and co-ordinating document signing.
The Successful Applicant

The preferred candidate will be able to display;

  • Bachelor-level degree in commerce, accounting, business or law.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm, corporate advisory firm, superannuation fund or investment management business.
  • Ability to demonstrate past experience in providing high-quality reporting to senior decision-makers or stakeholders.
  • A high degree of attention to detail, able to juggle competing priorities while delivering high-quality work to deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to engage on a peer basis with senior executives and investment professionals.
