This mid-sized, but complex business has a rich heritage and holds a commanding position within its category, but with continued potential to grow both onshore and internationally.

This is a critical role supporting not only the CEO and operations but also the board.
Initially the key focus of the role is refining and strengthening the forecasting and 'forward looking' framework.

You will own and manage the treasury function with a particular focus on ensuring robust FX and cash management practices.

You are ably supported by a very strong 2ic - Financial Controller (and offshore / onshore team) freeing you up to impact the commercial finance, value add areas.

In summary, you need to ensure a robust forecasting, cash management and risk and governance framework to provide a solid platform to underpin ongoing, efficient growth.

You bring a core track record in finance, as a CFO in a mid-size business or 2i C in a larger business.

Experience in import, distribution, wholesale, retail businesses is mandatory.
You will have deep experience in leading the budgeting and forecasting process in complex, product-based businesses.
Experience of dealing with APAC suppliers, FX, hedging and efficient and innovative working capital strategies are also required.
You will have the resilience and energy to deliver outputs and support a top-tier PE board.
Importantly, you are realistic about the challenges but also the underlying opportunities within the discretionary consumer space.

This represents an excellent opportunity for a confident, technically competent CFO to go on the last stage of this journey over the next 3+ years through to exit.
