  • Assessing and managing risks associated with Infrastructure projects.
  • Leading the development and maintenance of engineering standards and designs to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Identifying opportunities to integrate innovation and new technologies into grid solutions.
  • Promoting continuous improvement in work processes and procedures.
  • Providing mentorship to team members, fostering knowledge sharing, and assisting in resource planning.

While you may not tick every box, we seek a strong combination of:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification with 8-10+ years' experience in utilities, specializing in design and asset management.
  • Prior experience in engineering leadership, design, and construction, coupled with business acumen for achieving design excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical equipment relevant to Terminal Stations and Substations, up to 500kV, in accordance with Australian Standards.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to translate conceptual plans into viable designs, manage budgets and schedules, and deliver high-quality design outputs.
  • Strong understanding of key engineering disciplines impacting Terminal Station & Substation design and equipment selection.
  • Effective communication with project teams and stakeholders across various disciplines.

We embrace diverse perspectives, unique voices, and inclusivity within our team.

We offer more than competitive compensation. Here's what makes us stand out:

  • Flexibility: Whether it's hybrid work arrangements, flexible hours, or part-time options, we prioritize work-life balance.
  • Leave Benefits: Beyond standard personal leave, we provide 14 weeks of paid parental leave, no tenure requirement.
  • Community Engagement: A paid volunteering day with our social impact partner, Foodbank, or a cause of your choice.
  • Additional Perks: Expect benefits like purchased leave, income protection, novated leasing, and health cover discounts.

As an industry undergoing transformation, we are enthusiastic about the opportunities that lie ahead.
