About the role

The Credentialing Officer role will provide the Nursing and Midwifery Services a high level of administrative support to coordinate and manage nursing and midwifery credentialing relevant to the Queensland Health credentialing portfolio for the nursing and midwifery professions across West Moreton Health.

About you

  • Demonstrated organisation skills and ability to organise with a high level of independence and to act innovatively, and resourcefully to meet deadlines and commitments possessing a logical proactive approach to achieve strategic goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to effectively interact with all levels of staff from diverse backgrounds, members of the public and private sector using tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Demonstrated highlevel ability and experience in identifying and analysing problems, developing and implementing remedial strategies, and exercising initiative and responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of project support including highlevel administrative skills utilising contemporary office equipment and software packages. This includes the ability to plan, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads whilst working autonomously and to be flexible in a changing work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, antidiscrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/1
  • Vaccinated against COVID19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
