We are currently looking for

$45-50 per hour depend on experience. The tenure preferably is 3 months with possible extension, and we are looking for an

immediate start.

Role Purpose:

  • Oversee the efficient management of the Client's leasing agreements in relation to properties.
  • Oversee and ensure the efficient, effective and safe operation and presentation of the client's leased facilities.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and business processes to optimize use of leased properties.
  • Ensure that the Client's obligations for properties are in accordance with relevant legislation and City policies are met.
  • Oversee the management of City land, and Crown land vested to the City, for leasing purposes.

Key accountabilities:

  • Act as the point of contact for lessees, and manage any issues arising with leases.
  • Lead on the negotiation of leases
  • Provide advice regarding leases for new city properties as they are developed.
  • Assist in the investigation of complaints from tenants of leased facilities, and identify options to resolve the complaints to the satisfaction of all parties.
  • Develop, review, negotiate and monitor leases and licenses.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of operational procedures.
  • Advise Directors and Managers on matters requiring attention, and implement decisions made.
  • Foster, advocate and implement the City's Customer Service Commitment.
  • Through the delivery of outstanding service, establish a reputation of customer service excellence throughout the organization.
  • Identify and report on operational risk in accordance with the Risk Management Framework
  • Demonstrate a commitment to WHS and the assessment/management of safety risk that is consistent with the WHS Roles and Responsibilities Framework.

Requirements of the Job:

  • Degree in an appropriate discipline (eg, Property Management, Facilities Management, Business)
  • Current 'C' class driver's license.
  • Demonstrated experience in facility management including planning contracting, leasing marketing, risk management, financial management, stakeholder management and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing properties for lease including the development of multimedia advertising campaigns.
  • Previous experience in leadership/supervision.
  • Experience in a Local Government Authority.
  • Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
  • High level of customer service skills.
  • Sound problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
