Our Insights and Data team helps our clients make better business decisions by transforming an ocean of data into streams of insight. Roles & Responsibilities

Capgemini is looking for a technical expertise in IBM Infosphere MDM professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software engineering practices, agile methodologies, and a proven ability to innovate and solve complex problems. This role requires hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting Java/J2EE applications and microservices, with proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and container technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing Java/J2EE applications and microservices.
  • Hands-on development experience with IBM Infosphere MDM Advanced Edition v11.x.
  • Implementing CI/CD practices, automated testing, and performance engineering.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Utilizing version control systems such as Git for source code management.
  • Providing production support and contributing to enhancements through code fixes.
  • Demonstrating flexibility to multitask and contribute beyond specific assignments.
  • Bringing innovative solutions to streamline processes and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Utilizing container technologies (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes) for application deployment.
  • Expertise in Kafka and stream processing for real-time data integration.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE/Spring/Microservice/API development.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools like Bamboo or similar.
  • Proficiency in Maven, Robot, Mockito, JUnit, and JMeter for development and testing.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and shell scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Experience in software engineering best practices and methodologies.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Connect-Direct and Ctrl-m Scheduler.
  • Industry experience within the ANZ technology landscape.
  • Exposure to Elastic Search (ELK Stack) and RedHat Decision Manager.
