Live and Learn Group is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join the team, located in Penrith.


We are looking for individuals who possess the right empathy and ethic with suitable experience to work in our Day Centre and provide In-home Supports.


Shifts that are currently available are 7am-10am, 3.15pm-9pm and 4.30pm-9.30pm. There are other shift that may be available, but at the moment, these are shifts that we require to fill. There is also weekend work available. P_

About You

To be successful in this role you must:

  • be reliable and have a good work ethic
- have pride on providing personal care with dignity and respect
- have a happy and bubbly personality
- be able to build rapport easily with clients and co-workers
- have the ability to be flexible, strong and resilient in challenging situations

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • ensuring all medication administration is undertaken according to NDIS and Live & Learn Policies & Procedures
- transporting participants to appointments and daily activities
- supporting participants with personal hygiene, self-care, shopping, general tasks and domestic duties
- completing shift progress notes

Requirements for this role:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain
  • Experience with Autism _
    Desirable_
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in the Disability sector
  • Have the availability as outlined above
  • Valid
    Australian Drivers Licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
