Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading aged care facility based in regional Victoria, dedicated to delivering exceptional care. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing to lead a 23-bed facility and coordinate a high standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
  • Monitor and improve patient satisfaction and care quality metrics.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing staff, promoting professional development and a positive work environment.
Essential Selection Criteria
  • Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
  • National Crime Check within the past 12 months
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Up to date immunisations
  • At least 5 years of postgraduate experience in Aged Care
  • Experience in management
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills to prioritise care and make sound clinical judgements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in AN-ACC assessments
