About the role


This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate senior nurse who wants to drive strategic initiatives that support professional practice and clinical operations for Co-ordinated Care, Acute and Aged Medicine.

You will be accountable for effective leadership and management of the nursing workforce within your operational stream.

Working collaboratively with the clinical directors, professional chiefs and directorates across Eastern Health you will be able to deliver outcomes aligned with the Eastern Health Strategic Plan and Improvement and Innovation Plans.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Current, condition-free nursing registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA

Postgraduate qualification in management or other appropriate field

Experience working at a senior professional level

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills
