This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated
PMO Manager to join the Corio's rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.


The PMO Manager will be working on a Australian wind farm project and will be responsible for leading project controls delivering project programme/schedule, cost/budgets, risk and document management and the implementation of appropriate systems, processes and procedures.


Corio was developed under the Green Investment Group and remains a subsidiary of Macquarie Group (Australia's largest investment bank) so we have strong financial support to drive the business forward.


You will:

  • As the project organisation matures develop and manage the PMO / project controls team and its responsibilities.
  • Ensure standard project control processes/ procedure requirements are met, understood and embedded across the project team and by contractors and subcontractors.
  • Establish and maintain a detailed consolidated project programme in Primavera P6, allowing for effective monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain detailed risk registers, associated QRA/SRA/Scenario analysis and contingency plans, allowing for effective monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain detailed DEVEX and CAPEX budgets, allowing for effective monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate system and controls for document management, allowing for effective monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
  • Ensure project changes are actively approved, aligned, and implemented.
  • Manage the analysis and reporting on project programme/schedule, cost budgets, risk management and document control and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Capture and share lessons learned

Requirements:

  • Location: Hybrid working Melbourne, Australia office.
  • Degree educated or above, ideally supported by a postgraduate qualification in project management (PMI-PMPAPM).
  • Proven experience of project management in large infrastructure projects, with offshore wind experience a strong advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organised and excellent time management
  • Strong relationship management with proactive and cooperative way of working.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor approach and present complex information to broad audiences.
  • Excellent knowledge of Primavera P6, Excel and PowerPoint with knowledge of risk and document management software an advantage.
