Perioperative Clinical Facilitator

Permanent Full Time Opportunity to join the Theatre Department at Warringal Private Hospital.
About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Perioperative nurse, with a commitment to clinical education and professional development, to provide mandatory and relevant clinical education.
You will provide education to New Graduate Nurses, nurses transitioning into the perioperative environment, Undergraduate Students and the ongoing professional development of staff within the Theatre department.
About You
This role is well suited to a passionate mentor driven to see their team members succeed and grow.
Along with your strong problem-solving skills, you have the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and be able to engage with all of our stakeholders be they medical professionals, patients or other nursing staff.
- You will also bring:_
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Perioperative setting
- Experience within a nurse preceptor or facilitator role
- Proven specialty experience in either Anaesthetics/Recovery, as a Scrub Scout or both is _essential._
- Must have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards
- Postgraduate qualifications in relevant area are highly desired
