AN EXCITING NEW PROJECT IN THE GOSFORD AREA- NOW RECRUITING DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS

Pegasus Care is excited to announce a new Supported Independent Living project in the Gosford Area and we are looking at recruiting Disability Support staff who have a range of skills willing to work in a variety of settings to utilise and build on their specific skill base to work with us.


The role requires staff to be available to work a 24/7 roster which will include weekend and public holidays, and,
may include night shift/sleepover shifts.


To ensure the smooth running of the Service, staff will need to commit to a _
minimum of 30hpw_


You will need well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a Team as well as family members, you will need good communication _(both written and verbal)_ skills and the ability to follow the routines and protocols in the setting in which you work.

**The successful applicant must be able to show experience in some or all of the following: - **- Previous sector experience

  • Willing to assist with Personal Care as required.
  • Managing Challenging Behaviour and Behaviour Support
  • Experience understanding Mental Health supports
  • Provision of Community Access.
  • Implementation of Individual Goals, Plans, Routines
  • Friendly, Personable and motivational
  • Ability to set and maintain professional boundaries
  • 100 points of ID
  • The right to work in Australia
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Work (or similar)
  • NDIS Worker Clearance Certificate.
  • Completed NDIS Worker Induction Module
  • Quality, Safety & You
  • Completed NDIS Mealtime Management Training
  • Vaccination evidence covid1
  • Medication Administration


 Infection Control Training
  • COVID19 Certificate
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • NSW Drivers Licence, a Reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
  • Provide evidence of vehicle registration
