As the Senior Manager of Energy Origination & Development - Power & Energy Solutions, you will be an essential part of their mission to provide sustainable and reliable energy solutions across the globe. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the energy origination and development efforts, creating strategic partnerships and securing new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new opportunities for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, hydro, and other emerging technologies.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market presence and enhance the energy project portfolio.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, utilities, project developers, and investors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, from origination to development and execution.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the energy sector.
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts with project partners and stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform business strategies and stay ahead of the curve.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar role within the renewable energy industry, with a focus on energy origination and development.
- Strong network of contacts and a demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with key players in the energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy market, project development process, and industry regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.
- Team-oriented leader with a passion for driving growth and achieving results.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
