Accounts Payable Officer

The Role

As we continue to grow we are seeking a proven AccountsPayable Officer to join as an addition to the team and play a key role in Bielby'sFinance Team. Thisrole will report directly to the Senior Financial Accountant where you will be responsiblefor managing Bielby's accounts payable balances to ensure invoices, credits andpayments are processed in accordance with client terms of agreement and companyprocedures.
Responsibilities:

  • Completing end to end AP processing
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure payments are accurate and paid on time
  • Preparing EFT & BPAY payments as required
  • Liaising with suppliers and reconciling statements received from suppliers to ensure all payments are made
  • Completing supplier credit applications when received
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reporting to be provided to site administrators and Financial Accountant
  • Managing supplier queries and requests as required
  • Adding and maintaining accurate vendor information in MYOB and Coins
  • Other general AP administration & assisting with wider finance duties as required
About You
  • 3 years demonstrated accounts payable experience preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting
  • Demonstrated experience using MYOB, COINS or similar accounting software
  • Competency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing high volume invoices dailyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills with an investigative nature to resolving issues
  • Ability to effectively work autonomously and in a team environment with a result driven approach
  • Extremely organised and a good planner with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Commitment to process improvement
