The Client


Our client, operating in the mining industry has recently implemented a new ERP system, and have since experienced a backlog of accounts payable invoices.

With a fairly new head office in Brisbane CBD, this role will be working alongside the Finance Manager in Brisbane and remote Site-based Accounts Officer.

The Role

This position is responsible for assisting a small finance team and reporting into the Finance Manager.

The role will initially be a contract for an initial 2-3 months, until the backlog of invoices is cleaned up.


The role will look after:
Full function accounts payable;
Supplier statement reconciliations;
Accounts payable inbox management;
Bank reconciliations; and

Other tasks as required by manager.

About You


Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer, who has used multiple ERP systems, experience working in temp contracts and can hit the ground running in a contract.

To be successful in this role you will display the following:

At least 3 years' end to end payables experience;
Flexible and adaptable;
Professional demeanour;
Happy to work out of scope and take on extra tasks when needed;
Happy to work from the CBD office, as well as from home; and

Bubbly and positive attitude.
