UX Designer

Job Purpose

Adrenalin's User Experience team create meaningful digital products and solutions that are used by thousands of people on a daily basis. They use data, user research and customer insight to craft journeys, sketches, wireframes and prototypes. They know how a product should look, feel and work and seek to better understand what people need and want in the digital space and in real life.

Adrenalin are looking for a UX Designer to join our growing team. You will bring a deep understanding of UX and UI design to the team and be able to implement and iterate on a wide variety of UX solutions. As a UX Designer, you'll work side-by-side with the industry's brightest minds to create meaningful work for some of Australia's leading brands, all while receiving mentorship, training and experience to push boundaries and supercharge your UX skills and career development. The successful candidate must be based in the Sydney / Greater Sydney region.

On any given day you might:

• Perform research activities including in-person and remote user interviews, usability testing prep and facilitation, industry desktop research, and client stakeholder workshops to gather business requirements
• Create information architecture diagrams or sitemaps, personas, storyboards, user flows and high/low fidelity wireframes and prototypes along with a wide range of UX assets and deliverables
• Lead sketching activities with both colleagues and clients
• Apply critical thinking to break down complex requirements into user-centric solutions
• Validate ideas and solutions through user testing, research and interviews
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate concepts into functional wireframes
• Help run Design Thinking workshops and Design Sprints for clients
• Work as a trusted expert with our clients, helping to manage stakeholder expectations and feedback

The ideal person has:

• 2+ years of experience in Product/Service/Experience Design
• Exceptional skills in ideation, sketching, wireframing, user flows, mapping and information architecture
• Experience in architecting consumer-facing applications, websites and mobile experiences
• Knowledge of what good design systems look like
• Proficiency in UI tools for design, presentation and prototyping including Figma or Sketch
• Passion for innovation and craft as well as experimentation with technology
• An instinctive need to simplify
• Ability to translate business requirements and goals into successful UX solutions
• Great capacity to turn complex interactions into intuitive user experiences
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to present your work with excitement and sound rationale
