Adrenalin's UI Design team are both creators and storytellers who use design to bring ideas to life. They are responsible for defining concepts, creating design strategies and systems, and overseeing the creation of UI design artefacts across a variety of platforms and products. They help create exceptional digital experiences for some of Australia’s leading brands including Hungry Jack’s, nbn, NSW Government, Peter’s Ice Cream, Volkswagen and the Black Dog Institute.

As a UI Designer, you will bring intelligent, human-centred design thinking, to deliver beautiful and highly usable ideas, experiences and products to end users. You’ll work side-by-side with the industry’s brightest minds to create meaningful work for some of Australia’s leading brands, all while receiving mentorship, training and experience to push boundaries and supercharge your design skills and career development.

On any given day you might:

• Create pixel-perfect designs for web and mobile user interfaces, design systems, motion, and presentation narratives.
• Work closely with your Design team leads to execute the creative vision.
• Concept and collaborate with Strategy, UX and Technology to ensure designs balance both form and function.
• Participate in design critiques and support other designers in your team.
• Execute designs with the highest attention to detail to meet agency standards.
• Support your project team by championing UI Design throughout the project lifecycle.

• Have the ability to present your designs with sound rationale.
• Have an impressive portfolio of work that demonstrates your capabilities and previous successes.
• Are curious and look beyond the immediate ask to dream up innovative solutions.
• Persevere despite obstacles and have the ability to adapt on the fly.

The ideal person has:

• 2+ years of experience in UI Design
• Passion for innovation and craft as well as experimentation with technology
• High attention to detail
• Proficiency in UI tools for design and presentation including Figma (or Sketch)
• Familiarity with motion design
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to present your work with excitement and sound rationale
• Good understanding of UX principles
• UX Design experience is beneficial but not mandatory
