In this role, you'll:


Be working as part of a team delivering support for the day to day operations of the Open Data Hub, administers the Open Data Portal and API Gateway and investigates and resolves data, visualisations & insights issues that arise.


Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to action open data & insights related requests and as the Open Data & Insights Champion for the open data proactive release.

This is a permanent full time role based at Macquarie Park with flexible work options.

About you


A dynamic proactive personality, someone who loves engaging and managing stakeholders as well as coordinating with other teams for planning, design, governance, engineering and release management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data and analytics services.


Experience in manipulating big datasets, administering data provision for API gateway, including management of user access, data protection, investigating and resolving data & insights problems will help produce data driven benefits to the wider Transport and the Community.

Have supreme command in documentation and data management including metadata creation and management using appropriate tooling,

Experience with BI tools, in manipulation of data with Python will be an advantage.
