What's the Opportunity?


The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the various component processes required to ensure the successful delivery of small to medium scale projects.


The Project Coordinator will work with customers & internal stakeholders to develop timelines, assess risks & oversee progress to ensure goals are met on time.

The projects will be diverse across the Wholesale Access Portfolio, not limited to Delivery.

The Project Coordinator will be required to provide support to the customer onboarding process and continual improvements/initiatives.

What's the day to day?

  • Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, change, risks, issues.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to Vocus customers through the project process
  • Create and maintain a high standard of professional project documentation appropriate to the scale, complexity, and risk of the project.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks/issues, communicating across leadership.
  • Provide a single point of contact for project enquiries or issues and escalations.
  • Support colleagues within the Project Management Team or Service Delivery, where appropriate.
  • Support strategic partner onboarding and establish onboarding processes for new product releases.
  • Design, Present and Manage Business and Customer Improvement initiatives/opportunities.

What you will need to be successful:

  • You have the full rights to work in Australian
  • Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Telecommunications industry
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies is desirable (Agile, PMBOK, PMI or Prince II)
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills
  • Commitment to following a structured and disciplined workflow practice
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a group
  • High attention to detail, with motivation and focus
  • Strong resilience in dealing with competing needs and deadlines
  • Outstanding commitment to customer service and internal and external customer experience
  • Welldeveloped stakeholder management skills coupled with the ability to communicate and articulate information in an effective manner
  • Strong understanding of Voice & Data Communication networks
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation of workload
  • A proactive, flexible, positive attitude
