ABOUT THE COMPANY - A global automaker representing passenger and light commercial vehicles. With local headquarters based in Melbourne, VIC.

ABOUT THE ROLE - Reporting to the Australian Managing Director, The Head of Sales will further develop the sales strategies for the entire dealer network and sales team.
This position will be responsible for providing direction, support and leadership to the Sales & Distribution functions essential to sales productivity. These include planning, reporting, target setting and management, sales process/supply chain optimisation, internal sales training, sales program implementation, sales incentive design and administration, and related recruitment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effective management of all budget areas for Sales and incentive areas in line with organisational objectives
  • Achievement of sales and profitability targets
  • Strong Dealer Engagement throughout the Network
  • Development and management of sales team including a talent pipeline to growth of continuous opportunities within the business
  • Effective member of the Leadership Team ensuring sound working relationships focused on supporting and achieving overall results

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A proven Automotive Senior Executive with demonstrated results as a strategic and operational Sales Operations champion – experience in the wholesale side of the industry required.
  • A leader who has successfully initiated Change and delivered on Business Sales Targets.
  • A strong and consistent decision maker
  • An inclusive and empowering manager
  • Strong relationship builder; in particular with the network
  • Influencer; able to build alignment across departments and build a high performing team
  • Upholds personal integrity and respect for others
  • Advantageous > Bachelor's degree level qualified in Business, Management, or similar.
