The Digital Content Coordinator is responsible to the Manager Communications of the client's major project and will:

  • Generate digital content for use on the client's online resources, including the website and social media accounts, to support the overarching communications strategy.
  • Monitor and draft timely and accurate responses to queries received through the client's digital channels.

Key Responsibilities
***- Assists with writing copy tailored for the variety of the project's digital channels.

  • Maintains and updates the project website.
  • Prepares webready graphics and PDF documents.
  • Films and/or photographs milestones and construction activities, including managing postproduction to a standard suitable for dissemination across the project website and social media accounts.
  • Maintains positive relationships across the project partner agencies to enable an ongoing exchange of ideas about digital communication opportunities.
  • Liaises with project stakeholders as required.
  • Monitors and drafts responses to comments and queries across all digital channels, as per the client & projects Digital Communications Strategy.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in content planning and management, with the ability to produce, edit and manage digital video content using a variety of formats, including graphic design, video and post production, photography and editing techniques.
  • Ability to use computer hardware and software to post produce digital materials, such as Adobe Suite of software including Premier Pro, Indesign and Photoshop.
  • The ability to present information effectively and efficiently for digital channels including experience using and administering a content management system.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and exercise selfmotivation with a minimum of supervision.
  • Proven analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • A strong level of oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise and negotiate with clients at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment and contribute to the achievement of team goals.

Desirable Experience

  • Tertiary (Bachelor or higher) qualification in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Media, Digital or related discipline and/or proven relevant experience.
**_NB: A current National Police Clearance will be required prior to commencement_
