Bakers Delight is seeking Apprentice Bakers to join Bakers Delight Wellington Village in Rowville.

A opportunity exist for apprentice who is yet to commence their training, as well as opportunities for those who are currently undertaking a baking apprenticeship.


In your baking apprenticeship, you will work towards:

  • Baking and presenting quality products which meet our changing customer needs
  • Supporting the Qualified Baker,
  • Production Manager and Bakery manager in all areas of the production space
  • Maintaining bakery cleanliness to WHS standards
  • Actively participating in your Apprenticeship with all required training completed within appropriate time frames
  • Assisting retail Sales Assistants as required

To be successful you will possess the following skills/attributes:

  • Passion for baking Willingness to enter into an apprenticeship, or demonstrate successful completion of prior learning modules, if already undertaking an apprenticeship
  • Keen learning ability
  • Ability to complete training modules to a satisfactory standard
  • Excellent communication, time management and prioritising skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and adaptable environment
  • Desire to become a trade qualified baker


To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
