Our client operates in the care service sector, providing support to vulnerable participants across aged care, disability and family services. They currently have a rare opportunity for a Claims & Billing Officer to join their friendly and stable team, led by a down-to-earth, supportive and proactive manager.

For this role you will need to have NDIS claims experience, but the team will support you to learn Accounts Receivable processes.

About the Role

As the Claims & Billing Officer your responsibilities will include:

  • High volume billing
  • NDIS claims processing
  • Debtor management
  • Resolving payment processing issues
  • Processing NDIS data into the finance system
  • Issuing statements
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Participating in process improvement projects

About You

You must be even-tempered, a solid team player and fast & accurate with your work. You will have a strong focus on customer service, with the ability to articulate and explain billings/account statements to a diverse customer base .

The Benefits

  • Over $18 000 in salary packaging benefits, making your salary equivalent to $77 000 plus super in a commercial company (note base of $ super)
  • Annual CPI increases (last year was 7%)
  • 17.5% annual leave loading

  • 7.5 hour work day = 37.5 hours per week
