Castlery is seeking a dedicated and passionate Store Manager to join our Customer Experience Department, we're looking for an experienced professional who can excel in assisting customers both in our store and through online sales inquiries.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every customer enjoys a positive and memorable experience, whether they interact with us offline or online.

This position offers a unique opportunity to excel in a role that involves both in-store and online customer interactions.

As a Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every customer enjoys a positive and memorable experience, whether they interact with us offline or online.

This role reports to our AU (Growth) Manager who is based in Sydney.

Job Title:
Store Manager (Full-Time)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all employees in the store deliver a high standard of customer engagement.
  • Actively seeking customer feedback and providing meaningful data to management (Voice of Customer) to improve our services.
  • Processing instore sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Keeping the store and its products clean and wellmaintained.
  • Monitoring offline customer satisfaction and encouraging online reviews.
  • Assisting the online sales team by handling customer inquiries, providing quotations, and performing other related duties.
  • Conducting competitor research both online and offline to stay informed about market trends.
  • Developing and maintaining extensive knowledge about the products and services we offer.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of retail experience, preferably in furniture, design, or a related industry, with 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Fluent English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A people person' who can demonstrate enthusiasm, patience, and empathy towards customers.
  • Familiarity with the latest design, retail, and ecommerce trends.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • High flexibility during busy retail periods such as End Of Financial Year (EOFY), Black Friday, and Christmas.
  • Ability to determine customer needs and provide appropriate solutions, setting expectations with customers.
