HumanKapital is a full suite human resources, recruitment and WHS services provider.

Our client is a non-profit member-based association that is focused on supporting and promoting the welfare of dogs and raising the standards of breeding purebreds. Our client also works to achieve a number of various other objectives in relation to dog welfare. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing & communications professional to join their team on a permanent part-time contract.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for delivering key communication objectives in line with the organisation's digital, social, marketing and brand strategy to increase the organisations exposure and engagement

The key responsibilities include:

  • Develop channel marketing strategies and promotional activities coordinating the design, production and distribution of marketing materials, reports and content.
  • Ensure that the organisations website and social media platforms are fit for purpose and aligned to strategy.
  • Develop, distribute and amplify all content that features on thirdparty channels, including websites, blogs, social media, print media, television, radio and advertising.
  • Monitor and manage social media platforms and seek opportunities to maximise performance.
  • Prepare communications in response to relevant media releases in a timely manner.
  • Communicate and enhance engagement with relevant government officials.
  • Enhance engagement with the organisation's members.
  • Provide reports on performance of digital and social platforms.
  • Implement policies, procedures and systems to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of multiple external digital communications.

ABOUT YOU

  • Tertiary qualified in Marketing and/or Communications.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in digital marketing or similar role.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement brand growth strategies and projects.
  • Ability to write and develop media that is captivating and engaging for the target audience.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Effective negotiation and problemsolving skills.
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign and Photoshop highly regarded.)
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
