About the role


We're seeking a Treasury Risk and Compliance Manager to assist in the implementation, monitoring, management and reporting of Transurban's treasury activities in Australia and internationally.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Act as the Treasury Policy Manager, coordinating annual reviews including Board papers
  • Oversee the reporting of Treasury debt metrics, including financial compliance/covenants and ratios as well as half year and full year treasury reporting
  • Act as the Committee Secretary for the Funding and Market Risk Committee (chaired by CFO), including taking minutes and arranging meetings
  • Provide the interface between the internal Treasury and Risk teams on the Treasury Risk Register
  • Prepare certificates for lenders, including data captured by finance
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in corporate Treasury or equivalent
  • A background in Risk Reporting, Treasury or Accounting/Finance
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating financial risks or working in debt markets
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Experience managing a team (desirable)
  • Strong analytical skills
