Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for financial operations up to EOFY handover to Accountant with the support of a part time Accounts Officer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Payroll
• Daily banking and reconciliations
• BAS, IAS, PAYG reporting and lodgement
• Liaison with international and domestic suppliers
• Maintaining assets and inventory
• Managing PayPal account
• Cashflow forecasting and budgeting
• P&L reporting
• Month end reporting
• EOFY reporting

The Bookkeeping position can be undertaken on either a 4 day per week or 5 day per week basis and start and finish times can be negotiated.

Whilst initially based in the office, there will be flexibility to combine some days working from home ie 2 days WFH and 3 days in the office if you are seeking a hybrid role, however, you can also work full time in the office if that is your preference

Your Background
Enjoy taking ownership of this all-round Bookkeeping position encompassing all aspects up to external Accountant EOFY.

A background in retail and stock management would be ideal and an understanding of online sales including PayPal, Shopify etc would be advantageous as the business continues to grow.

If you enjoy looking for ways to streamline processes and implementing new systems to support business growth that would be great also We are ideally seeking the following skills and experience;

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent advantageous
• Experience working as a Bookkeeper in a medium sized business essential
• XERO experience preferred
• Ecommerce including PayPal and Shopify exposure highly advantageous
• Accounting inventory/stock knowledge highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexible approach to adapt to the requirements of the business
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
• Excel
• Word
